Royal Courts of Justice

This frighteningly imposing edifice was built over the original site of a dark maze of crowded narrow passageways, small congested courtyards, connected cellars and a tangle of tiny tunnels full of twisting turns.

The sad ghost of a desperately lost, brash foolhardy young man who once refused to pay for guidance through this lightless labyrinth and was never seen alive again has been seen and often heard wailing and shrieking here.
